So long Birthday Roaster

The first show developed by the Isode Network has now been put to rest. We learned a great deal from doing this show and it allowed us to get started in what I believe is a yet to explode industry of written and produced serialized online content creation. Unfortunately, I think the basic premise of the show was flawed from the beginning for the key reasons of not targeting a niche audience and for relying on being mean for laughs.

For anyone who tuned in (thanks Mom) we appreciate your feedback and time spent.

I’d like to thank our host and my good buddy Mark for bringing it each and every time we rolled the camera. I know in my heart he was not comfortable with a lot in the scripts that we handed him but he never showed it. He simply got in character and delivered it as good as anyone could have….thanks Worm, you are a true talent and I loved working with you and look forward to presenting you with a better show to tackle.

Thanks to Josh for his efforts in writing the shows. I think you are a very talented writer and performer that I know will make it to the big leagues in show biz when the right opportunity presents itself. This was a massive challenge that unfortunately proved to be an impossible one.  Thanks as well to Cole for the effort you brought in trying to make this work.

And finally, thanks to Rolondo who directed and edited the show. You did an amazing job with what you had. Look for the name Rolondo Cid in the future, I’m 100% sure you will see it scrolling up the screen in the near future. Talent and hard work always win eventually.

The folks at Isode are now under development of a couple new shows that I’m hoping fare better then the doomed Birthday Roaster.

Cheers,

Rob
